  (Pinckneyville, Ill.) - Grant Jausel led three Panthers in double figures with 20 points and Pinckneyville avoided a letdown after Friday night's big win over Nashville by defeating Vandalia 68-46 at home on Saturday.
  A night after shooting an uncharacteristic 19% from three-point land against the Hornets, the Panthers found their form from long distance against the Vandals, making 8-of-19 threes for 42%. Overall, PCHS shot 55% from the field and 8-for-9 for 89% from the free throw line.
  The Panthers built a 15-point lead at the half and Vandalia never got that lead under 10 after the break.
J.C. Moll added 17 points, Dawson Yates had 13, Kyle Luke 9, Devin Kitchen 3, Noah Carter 2, Lucas Teel 2, Dustin Bartnicki 1.
  Pinckneyville (15-1, 4-0) hosts Carterville on Friday, January 12 then begins the Benton Invitational Tournament on January 15.
