Lady Panthers Banach, Kling sign with SWIC for softball
Two Pinckneyville Softball players, who have made significant contributions to Panther success, have decided to step up to the plate together to play for the SWIC Blue Storm, signing their letters of intent to play for Head Coach Michael Juenger at the next level. Panther shortstop Kylee Kling and second baseman Emma Banach have been solid up the middle for Head Coach Alan Engelhardt's Panthers, who made two straight state tournament appearances, 4th place finishes, and 33-win seasons in the past two years.

Both Kling and Banach were named 2nd team River-to-River Mississippi Division All-Conference as juniors; Banach repeated that honor this season. Both batted over .300 for the Panthers for their senior season, with Kling crushing a memorable home run in the State Semi-final game at East Peoria.
