(Marion, Ill.) - The Lady Falcons evened their record at 7-7 on Thursday night with a straight-set road win at Agape Christian, 25-17, 25-18, despite a fair share of mistakes on offense.

"This wasn't our best effort," said EHS head coach Donette Wheatley. "We struggled tonight with our hitting. We kept hitting everything into the net. I put a few of the younger kids in and they picked it up a bit until the starters could gain their composure. We pulled through, though - we don't play very well at their gym. We have to bounce back for the tournament on Saturday."

Jessica Elson led Elverado in kills with 4, followed by Emma Funk with 3. Morgan Bernardini had the most digs with 4, and Elson and Morgan Cashion each chipped in with 3 apiece. Funk and Bernardini each had 3 service aces.

In the junior varsity match, Elverado torched Agape 25-4, 25-9, getting 3 kills from Reese Funk and 6 aces from Abby Jeschke.
