Indians 2nd at Bob Karnes Relays behind wins from Adams, Edward, and relay teams

  (Du Quoin, Ill.) - Two Du Quoin relay teams and two individual Indians secured first place finishes at Tuesday's Bob Karnes Relays meet at DHS, and the host school finished second in the final team scoring behind winner Mascoutah.
  Shamar Adams just held off teammate Kyle Robinson to win the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.90 - Robinson was second at 16.14. Those two along with Ethan Zettler and Ashton Coffel also comprised Du Quoin's winning team in the 4x110 meter shuttle hurdles event.
  Dasani Edward was the Indians' other individual winner, taking home the triple jump with a combined distance of 120'8. Du Quoin's 4x800 meter relay squad of Wade Roberson, Carson Davis, John Alongi and Caleb Davis also grabbed a win with their time of 9:09.56.
