Elverado Booster Club holding Chili Dinner & Silent Auction Fund Raiser on December 15

( Elkville, Ill.) - The Elverado Booster Club is an organization that provides funds for kids to participate in sports and beyond. Sports can give them discipline, teamwork skills, setting goals, and sometimes an extra role model in life. We also cover costs for low income families for equipment, insurance, doctor’s physicals, start-up costs, etc., for our entire school district. We also award sports scholarships, if we have the funds available, at graduation. The more money we raise, the more kids we can help.

This 2018- 2019 school year we are asking individuals or companies to invest in the future of the children in our school district. We are having our annual Chili Dinner/silent auction.  The boys j/v and varsity basketball teams are playing. The game is on December 15, 2018 at the Piper-Valerius Gymnasium in Elkville, Illinois. We are having a chili/chili dog dinner, silent auction, and a 50/50 drawing during the games. The cost of the dinner is $7.00, with all the fixins and homemade desserts. We start serving at 4 P.M. till it’s gone. You can purchase a dinner ticket from any basketball player, cheerleader, or walk on in. Take home dinners will be available at no extra cost. Drinks can be purchased from the Junior Class concession stand. We need volunteers for serving and making desserts.

All donations can be mailed to the high school or to the address below (Attention: Elverado Booster Club), or we would be happy to pick it up. Checks can be made out to the Elverado Booster Club. Please feel free to e-mail President Robert Cavitt (rsdlcavitt@yahoo.com) or contact him at 618-521-6528 if you have any questions. Thank you to all the generous people who have helped before and our future contributors. We couldn't do this without you and it's all for the kids! GO FALCONS!
